Surely someone is going to come along to knock Adele off her perch. But in the meantime, the Grammy-winning singer simply cannot be beat, as her 21 will notch its 22nd non-consecutive week at #1 next week thanks to sales of nearly 297,000, according to figures provided by Nielsen SoundScan.

And that's with sales dropping almost 60 percent from her post-Grammy high. More than a year into her incredible run, Adele has sold almost 7.7 million copies of her second album in the U.S. Also holding strong was the Whitney Houston greatest-hits collection, which lost just 1 percent of its sales from the previous week, staying in the #2 position on sales of 174,000 in the second full chart week since the singer's death. It was joined in the top 10 by the soundtrack to "The Bodyguard," (#6, 47,000, up 176 percent) and her self-titled debut (#9, 30,000, up 72 percent).

Among the debuts in the top 10 are: Fun., Some Nights (#3, 70,000); Tyga, Careless World: Rise of the Last King (#4, 61,000); and Chiddy Bang, Breakfast (#8, 31,000).

The rest of the top 10: Now That's What I Call Music! 41 (#5, 54,000); Adele's debut, 19 (#7, 39,000); and the 2012 Grammy Nominees compilation (#10, 29,000).

Just outside the top tier, buzz duo Sleigh Bells rolled into a #12 debut with their second album, Reign of Terror and Grimes hit #98 with Visions (5,000).

Over on the iTunes singles chart, Fun.'s hookup with Janelle Monae, "We Are Young," was at #1, followed by Kelly Clarkson's "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," The Wanted with "Glad You Came," Katy Perry's "Part of Me" and B.o.B's "So Good." The list was rounded out by Adele at #6 with "Set Fire to the Rain," Nicki Minaj just behind with "Starships," then Gotye with "Somebody That I Used to Know," Chris Brown with "Turn Up the Music" and Carrie Underwood's "Good Girl."

Adele easily kept the #1 spot on the iTunes album chart, followed by Tyga, Fun., Chiddy Bang, Houston, Sleigh Bells, Gotye's Making Mirrors, Adele's 19, Drake's Take Care and the Beatles' 1.

Adele should be safe for another week as she pursues the magic 24-weeks-at-#1 mark, though the new album from Bruce Springsteen could provide a challenge. Otherwise, the fresh faces include Sean Paul, Estelle and Kid Cudi's troubled WZRD project.

'Star Trek' Leaks Are 'A Bummer,' Zoe Saldana Says

Last week, we posted about some photos from the set of "Star Trek 2" showing Benedict Cumberbatch and Zachary Quinto locked in some kind of struggle. 'Avengers' Trailer: Five Key Scenes

Bruce Banner — a.k.a. the Hulk — takes center stage in the latest look at Joss Whedon's Marvel Studios superhero epic.
By Josh Wigler

The Avengers aren't a team, according to Bruce Banner; they're a time bomb. We're inclined to agree with the green, mean doctor based on the new theatrical trailer for "Marvel's The Avengers," though we should note that we're also very, very excited to see that time bomb explode in just a few months.

The latest "Avengers" trailer has more of the same scenes we've seen in previous spots but with enough elaboration and new details to keep us incredibly eager for Earth's mightiest superhero flick. Joss Whedon's long-awaited Marvel movie looks to be bigger than anyone could have possibly imagined, especially with the appearance of a not-so-little spaceship seemingly ripped straight out of the "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" playbook by the trailer's conclusion.

There's a lot to unpack from the new "Avengers" trailer, so join us as we pinpoint five key scenes!

The Powers of Persuasion
Fans lucky enough to attend D23 Expo in late 2011 were treated to a scene in which Natasha Romanoff — better known by her codename Black Widow — approaches a reclusive Bruce Banner about joining the Avengers initiative. That scene is very much present in this latest trailer, showing the world how the mean, green fighting machine comes to join up with Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Of course, it's not like he has much choice; there are dozens of armed soldiers surrounding Bruce's hut in case he turns down Natasha's offer. Are Black Widow's powers of persuasion enough to bring Bruce along peacefully, or are these soldiers in for an up-close look at one of the scientist's infamous temper tantrums?

Holy Trinity
Not all Avengers were created equally, sad to say. In Marvel Comics lore, it's often Iron Man, Captain America and Thor who are most readily identified with the powerful superhero team. For the first time ever, this "Avengers" trailer puts all three of those men in the same space completely by themselves; it's a haunting shot featuring three of the world's mightiest superheroes in one isolated location, hot off the heels of them beating the tar out of one another. We guess that's one way to make friends!

Kneel Before Loki
The Asgardian outcast has some new tricks up his sleeve in "The Avengers," it would seem. Chief among them: the ability to look incredibly dapper! A striking Tom Hiddleston haunts the "Avengers" trailer, regularly taunting his opponents and literally bringing mankind to its knees. Loki's presence has hung heavily in every one of these "Avengers" trailers, but his absolute power over humanity has never been more certain than it is in this latest look. Without a doubt, this is a man to be feared, no matter how many green monsters you have on your side.

Playing Nice With Others
Speaking of the green guy, Hulk gets even more action in this newest "Avengers" trailer. Despite Bruce's claims that the Avengers are less of a team and more of a time bomb, he proves his ability to play well with others when Hulk comes to the rescue of a battered and beaten Tony Stark. A sign that this version of the Hulk has some semblance of who's fighting for which side? Perhaps. One thing's for sure: We should start worrying about Iron Man's safety right about now.

Bringing the Party to You
What's worse than six superheroes being attacked by an army of aliens? How about six superheroes being attacked by the army of aliens' big honking spaceship? We'll have to dig through the Marvel archives to figure out what clues the massive aircraft at the end of the "Avengers" trailer leaves behind, but we do know this: That thing is awesome, and we want our action figure immediately!

What did you think of the "Avengers" trailer? Tell us in the comments section!

Check out everything we've got on "Marvel's The Avengers."

Awards Season Report Card

MTV News looks back the awards shows that deserved standing ovations and those that left us falling asleep in our chair.
By MTV News staff

Photo: Getty Images

With the end of Oscars season, we say goodbye to awards shows for a few months. The spectacles honored the best in television, music and movies, and each handed out a good amount of hardware. But who put on the best show? Not all awards shows were created equal, and some get the benefit of live performances while some have to rest on the laurels of acceptance speeches.

As the 2011-2012 awards season comes to a close, the MTV News staff has taken a look back at the year that was to give you the breakdown on which shows earned standing ovations and which were just seat fillers.

The Academy Awards
"Another year, another reminder that the Oscars are no longer the can't-miss movie event they once were. Barring a surprise win for Meryl Streep and a fleeting hour where you thought that maybe, just maybe, 'Hugo' would topple 'The Artist,' the 2012 Oscars ceremony was a total dud. Yes, it was nice to see Billy Crystal back onstage; no, no one will complain about a cameo from Christopher Guest and friends; and sure, there is nothing that sucks about watching Sacha Baron Cohen spill 'Kim Jong Il's ashes' all over Ryan Seacrest. But those moments are why the Internet exists. As a whole and on its own, the 84th Annual Academy Awards were a giant, predictable snooze fest." C — Josh Wigler

The Grammys
"The Grammys are kind of like the Pu Pu Platter at the hip Chinese joint at the local strip mall: There's a bunch of the golden oldies your granny and mom love scattered among a bunch of weird new stuff that the grandkids can't get enough of. In other words, it tries to be all things to all people while typically turning off most of them. Except this year. The show drew near-record ratings thanks to a well-deserved sweep by Adele, a touching homage to just passed R&B superstar Whitney Houston and a grab bag of performances from the Foo Fighters, Chris Brown, Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, Rihanna, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Alicia Keys and Bonnie Raitt and that now-infamous messy EDM mashup thing. If that, along with two meh sets from ex-Beatle Paul McCartney and a mystifying one from Nicki Minaj sounds like the weirdest, least appealing festival lineup ever, well... And yet, host LL Cool J set an appropriately somber, not morbid tone for the show while keeping it moving, Jennifer Hudson absolutely nailed her Houston tribute and Adele simultaneously dragged the Recording Academy into the present while serving up just enough throw-back flavor to keep several generations happy." B+ — Gil Kaufman

The Golden Globes
"There are many things to love about the Golden Globe Awards. First and foremost, it combines the best and brightest from the worlds of television and film, an interesting occurrence because for some strange reason the stars of TV and cinema don't regularly interact in the awards-show wilds. Second, there is a decidedly more laid-back air to the affair, made possible by the bottles and bottles of champagne that are handed out to attendees from the moment they arrive on the red carpet to the moment they depart. Third, the nominating body for the Globes is the mysterious Hollywood Foreign Press, the membership and qualifications about which no one really knows that much. This year's award show wasn't especially full of shocking surprises, but it definitely delivered on the fun factor. Ricky Gervais returned to host and managed to not offend too many celebs in attendance, save for one jab at Madonna that she playfully tossed back in his face; George Clooney and Seth Rogen both made penis jokes and on a more sincere note, deserving Best Actor winner and 'Game of Thrones' star Peter Dinklage used his acceptance speech to call attention to an injustice." B — Kara Warner

Screen Actors Guild Awards
"The SAGs get a lot of credit for their ability to predict the Oscar winners a month or so in advance. While the SAG Awards have rightfully earned their reputation as accurate fortune tellers, actually watching the show will make you wish you'd just Googled the results that next morning. With onstage union talk and no host to keep the show moving, the ceremony this year took its name too literally and sagged." B- — Kevin Sullivan

American Music Awards
"The AMAs kicked it off with Nicki Minaj/David Guetta performing and wrapped it up with Justin Bieber and David Hasselhoff shufflin' alongside LMFAO. Squeezed in between were performances and awards handed out to stars like Minaj and Taylor Swift, among others. For a show that feels like it's Cinderella to its Grammys step sister, the AMAs proved that sometimes it's more fun to have fun." B — Jocelyn Vena

Critics' Choice Movie Awards
"Hosts Rob Huebel and Paul Scheer might have dubbed this show 'the ninth most exciting night in Hollywood,' and it might have delivered long stretches of snooze-worthy TV, but the CCAs also have us some great, 'Human Giant'-esque video bits, a live performance from Bob Dylan and Best Supporting Actor winner Christopher Plummer's onstage confession, 'I'm completely turned on.' It was the night's introductions and speeches, in fact, that made the show an overall winner. Judd Apatow dropped f-bombs, Sean Penn spoke via satellite about the continuing hardships in Haiti, and Patton Oswalt said, 'There are plenty of nuanced roles for schlubby actors out there. And the ones that Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman don't take are all mine!' "B+ — Eric Ditzian

People's Choice Awards
"For anyone who was wondering if hiring the girl from the 'Big Bang Theory' to host an award show was like a bang-up good idea, well then they should watch the 2012 PCAs, again and again and again. (Spoiler: it's not.) Also, when the biggest headline of the night is the fact that Robert Pattinson presented with a shaved head, well then you might have a dull show on your hands, folks. Seriously, what else even happened at that show?" D — Vena

Experts weigh in on when the new mom will make her next appearance, and when we might get to see Blue Ivy.

<P><a href="/news/articles/1678726/beyonce-post-baby-appearance-blue-ivy.jhtml">Beyonc&#233; has already stepped out</a> not once but twice support of Jay-Z as he held two <a href="/news/articles/1678669/jay-z-carnegie-hall.jhtml">shows at Carnegie Hall</a> this week in New York City, and now her fans are wondering when and where the next great B sighting might be. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:732758" width="240" height="211"></div><p> Will it be at the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/grammys/">Grammy Awards</a> on Sunday? Or is she going to save it for when she reveals her <a href="/news/articles/1677033/blue-ivy-beyonce-jay-z-leaves-hospital.jhtml">daughter, Blue Ivy</a>, for the first time? "This option was typical Beyonc&#233;. She isn't interested in getting paid to pose on a tabloid cover. It was a non-event," Huffington Post celebrity columnist Rob Shuter told MTV News about the first two <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/02/08/beyonce-photos-carnegie-hall-night-two/">Queen B sightings</a>. "She isn't one of those reality-type celebrities that turn up at everything just to be seen. Her next big moment will be when she walks a red carpet for a project she is involved in." With Beyonc&#233; choosing to go a more low-key route this week, celebrity editor <a href="http://gossipdavid.com" target="_blank">David Caplan</a> notes that there's a good chance that she may walk the carpet this Sunday. She's up for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for her Andre 3000-assisted <i>4</i> track, "Party," as well as Best Long Form Music Video for her "I Am ... World Tour" special. Jay-Z is also up for some prizes, including Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Album for the work he did with Kanye West on "Otis" and <i>Watch the Throne.</i> "Going forward, I expect her next big reveal to be at a show like the Grammys, where she can really jazz it up with a gown, which people want to see," he noted. "I think we'll see Beyonc&#233; gradually appear in more photos at events with Jay-Z as she seeks to get back into the groove. And once those baby photos are out, I wouldn't be surprised to see her out and about occasionally with Blue doing mommy-related tasks." So, how should we expect to see those first photos? "Since Beyonc&#233; chose to make the reveal by simply stepping out, and letting the throngs of photographers waiting for her to have a field day by taking tons of photos, her reveal allowed every media outlet to run the photos and make the reveal themselves, as opposed to if Beyonc&#233; made an exclusive first post-baby picture deal with a magazine like <i>People</i> or <i>Us</i> or a monthly magazine like <i>Vogue</i> or <i>Vanity Fair</i>," he said. "Stylistically, had she done a proper shoot with a magazine, the photos would have a much more top-notch quality to them, but when celebs do such photo shoots, they open themselves up to scrutiny since the public sometimes shuns on celebs who get paid for such photos, which happens, especially with the celebrity weeklies," he continued. "But the photos are great, and it's obvious she worked with at least one photo agency, since she posted very clear photos of herself on her website." And, since B has already been out and about, that ultimately affects the value of future pictures of her. "Now that the first pics of her post-baby have been revealed, the monetary value of subsequent photos of her &#8212; without her baby, of course &#8212; will be of course pricey," Caplan said. "But ultimately less in value since there's already a set out." Well, whenever B decides to make her big red-carpet statement or introduce the world to Blue Ivy, she's certainly already floored her friends with her dazzling post-baby looks. "She looks fantastic. She looks fantastic. I told her she looks so hot!" <a href="/news/articles/1678927/beyonce-blue-ivy-appearance.jhtml">Kelly Rowland</a> exclaimed to MTV News this week. "She looks so hot; just even sexy. Love her!" <i>Do you think Beyonc&#233; will show up at the Grammys? Leave your comment below.</i> <b>Chaos! Profanity! Wardrobe malfunctions! Don't miss Sway and James Montgomery live from the <a href="http://www.mtv.com/news/grammys/">Grammys</a> red carpet this Sunday, February 12, for a full three hours of mayhem, starting at 5 p.m. ET on MTV.com. And the fun doesn't end Sunday: MTV News has you covered until the Grammy hangover wears off!</b></p>

Ryan Seacrest Surprised By Sacha Baron Cohen's Oscar Stunt

'I definitely did not know that he was going to do that,' Seacrest said on his radio show on Monday.
By Gil Kaufman

Who better to try to flap than the unflappable Ryan Seacrest? If he could put up with Simon Cowell's constant attacks for nearly a decade, surely the 'Crest could handle a sneak attack from the Dictator.

And, true to his laser-focus reputation, when Sacha Baron Cohen's Dictator ash-bombed Seacrest on the Oscars red carpet on Sunday night, the "American Idol" host kept his composure. After all, he had to know that SBC was not just going to show up in costume, but was very likely going to create one of his infamous scenes to drive up some hype for his upcoming tyrant spoof.

"I was surprised, but not surprised. I definitely did not know that he was going to do that," Seacrest said on Monday morning (February 27) on his radio show, "On Air With Ryan Seacrest," about his surprise when Cohen "accidentally" spilled an urn filled with the purported ashes of late North Korean dictator Kim Jong Il on the TV presenter's tux. "He comes over and I asked him a couple of questions but ... you know that feeling in your gut."

Knowing that Cohen was not going to let him off that easy, Seacrest said in the back of his mind he kept thinking, "This guy isn't coming as the Dictator to not do something ... you know in your gut, you feel like, 'This is going too normally.' " And then when he saw the urn come out, Seacrest could see something coming. "It was getting closer to my chest and then it tipped over. And it wasn't the wind. He spilt it on my tuxedo."

Did we mention Seacrest is hard to rattle? The consummate professional didn't flinch because he smartly followed the advice his mother, Connie, gave him long ago when he was just a wee wannabe presenter: " 'You always want to have two jackets. You never know what's going to happen. You never know what you're going to spill on yourself and you want to be red carpet-ready at all times. That's your job.' So I had another jacket." Seacrest had a great attitude about the gag, which drew a thumbs-up from some of the other celebs MTV News talked to at Elton John's annual Oscar-viewing party and charity gala.

How do you think Ryan Seacrest handled Sacha Baron Cohen's stunt? Leave your comment below!

Jennifer Lopez's Stylist Explains Oscars Wardrobe Malfunction

'There's no chance that there were any ... slips,' Mariel Haenn tells MTV News.
By Jocelyn Vena

Jennifer Lopez is experienced when it comes to looking sexy at an awards show. Who could forget that low-cut, emerald-green Versace dress she wore to the Grammy Awards in 2000?

The actress/ singer/ "American Idol" judge recalled that infamous look on Sunday night when Lopez hit the stage as a presenter at the Oscars and left some fans and viewers wondering whether an unintended part of Lopez's anatomy had slipped out from her dress.

Well, her stylist, Mariel Haenn, tells MTV News in a statement that what you actually saw was a lot of nothing. "The Oscar dress was custom-made for Jennifer by designer Zuhair Murad. The dress fit perfectly to her every inch," Haenn explained. "There were cups built in and there's no chance that there were any how do you say? 'Slips.' While the dress did give the illusion of sheerness, jokes on everyone who wishes they saw something!"

The sparkling gown dazzled on the stage when Lopez stood alongside her "What to Expect When You're Expecting" co-star, the Gucci-clad Cameron Diaz; the two were presenting the Oscar for Best Costume Design and Best Makeup. Regardless of whether anything did end up slipping out, Haeenn promises that if you liked Sunday's costume design for Ms. Lopez, then stay tuned: She's got more sexiness up her sleeve. Haenn said, "If you thought that dress was hot wait until you see what's next."

The possible nip-slip moment was so hotly debated on Twitter by celebrities and fans that Lopez's body part even got its own Twitter account. And as you might imagine, the handle is not subtle, simply going by JLos Nipple. The Twitter account seems to have a sense of humor, with jokes like, "I have no regrets. ... I have been confined for years and have never been given a chance to be heard. #nipslips." Another tweet reads, "For people that don't have HD ... I understand why you aren't following me. For everyone else ... you're welcome."

Simon Cowell Squashes Beyonce, Mariah Carey 'X Factor' Rumors

Judge also takes shot at 'The Voice,' asking, 'How many artists have they discovered?'
By John Mitchell

<P>Simon Cowell is finally opening up about the cast shakeups on "The X Factor" as well as about rumors that two <i>very</i> famous divas are in talks to join Fox's reality singing competition. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:698604.id:1672066" width="240" height="211"></div><p> Late last month, it was announced that judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger and host Steve Jones had been <a href="/news/articles/1678191/paula-abdul-exits-x-factor.jhtml">fired from "X Factor"</a> and would be replaced in its second season. The announcement came as a shock to fans, but Cowell tells <a href="http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/live-feed/simon-cowell-x-factor-firings-voice-287806" target="_blank">"Extra"</a> in an interview airing Wednesday (February 8) that the decision was a long time coming and was ultimately made "at the beginning of the year &#8212; and we were told it had to happen straight away." While her dismissal came as a surprise, Cowell says Abdul "was very gracious" about it. "She understands it's business," Cowell said of his real-life friend. "It's never personal." Scherzinger, according to Cowell, was "disappointed" with the producers' decision to replace her. But the former Pussycat Doll insisted in a new <a href="http://www.accesshollywood.com/nicole-scherzinger-talks-x-factor-departure-i-have-no-regrets_article_60184" target="_blank">"Access Hollywood"</a> interview that she "had a wonderful experience on the show." "What happened? Well, all I know is that I gave 110 percent to that show," she said. "I know everybody's talking about it, they're saying good, bad, they love me or hate me, but the one thing you can't say is that I didn't give it my all." Cowell also used his time with "Extra" to squash rumors that Beyonc&#233; or Mariah Carey might be joining the "X Factor" team when it returns to Fox later this year. He seemed particularly amused by <a href="http://www.reuters.com/article/2012/02/08/idUS114237084820120208" target="_blank">talk</a> that the show was offering Beyonc&#233; a nine-figure contract to join the judges' table. "The budget for the show is $100 million. That would never ever happen. It's absolute nonsense," he told "Extra." "No one is going to pay $100 million for someone. I genuinely haven't had a conversation with her about it. Not at all." The same can be said for Carey, who Cowell said he likes very much and would be a fine addition to the show but is an impractical choice because of the long hours involved. "I adore her, love her," he said. "But you can't expect someone who has just had two kids [and] has a record career to make the kind of commitment we would need on this show." "X Factor" did not perform as strongly as expected in the ratings last fall, which many feel precipitated the planned revamp, though the ever-cool Cowell is not sweating the competition. In this latest interview, Cowell took on "The Voice," which returned to NBC after the Super Bowl and delivered big ratings, saying the makeup of his judging panel is what sets "X Factor" apart. "I would ask how many records have they made, how many artists have they discovered?" Cowell asked of "The Voice" mentors Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. "That's where we have to be different on the judging panel. It's very important that you have people on the panel that have actually signed and made artists successful all over the world, not just have made hit records yourself."</p>

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a>'s already gotten <a href="/news/articles/1656039/andre-3000-pops-up-on-kehas-sleazy-remix.jhtml">"Sleazy" with Andre 3000</a>. Now, a few more rappers want to get dirty with the glittery pop singer. <a href="http://www.xxlmag.com/news/2011/10/t-i-andre-300-lil-wayne-wiz-khalifa-record-kesha-remix" target="_blank">XXLmag.com</a> reports that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/t_i_/artist.jhtml">T.I.</a> plans to jump on the track, and Lil Wayne and Wiz Khalifa will also be joining Andre and Tip on a new version of "Sleazy." Weezy should be a welcome addition to <a href="/news/articles/1651081/keha-gets-sleazy-on-new-cannibal-track.jhtml">Ke$ha's dance tune</a>, as it sounds somewhat like Wayne's single "A Milli." And while not much else is known about the remix, T.I. promised that he's going to go big with his verse. "I haven't heard anybody but mine. ... I'm gonna put my money on mine," the newly freed rapper, who <a href="/news/articles/1671950/ti_prison-release.jhtml">ended an 11-month prison sentence</a> in September, told the website. The Andre 3000 remix dropped earlier this year and appears on K-Dollar Sign's album <i>Cannibal.</i> The guys will have a lot of swagger to compete with because when Andre appeared on the first remix, he had this to say: "We start out so cute in our baby pictures/ That mama shot for our daddy so that he wouldn't forget you/ He forgot anyway, but hey, one day he'll remember/ If not, he's human, I'm human, you human, we'll forgive him/ I call her Keisha, she like it because it's 'hood to her/ She call me Andre 6000 because I'm good to her." Tip told XXLmag.com that his appearance on the Ke$ha song is just one of many remixes he's amped about. He has also worked on remixes for Meek Mill and Rick Ross's "Ima Boss," as well as Jay-Z and Kanye West's <i>Watch the Throne</i> song "N---as in Paris." "I'm looking for some more records to jump on," he said. "That's what I'm doin' right now. I'm commandeering hit records right now. I'm hijacking hit records. If you got a hit, I'm on it." <i>Are you looking forward to the new "Sleazy" remix? Tell us in the comments!</i></p>

WATCH: Oscar Winner Mocks Angelina Jolie on Stage!

Let it be said that the 84th Annual Academy Awards showcased more than a bit of celebrity impersonation -- and not just from host Billy Crystal. After Angelina Jolie struck an affected leg-thrusting pose while presenting the Oscar for best adapted screenplay, The Descendants co-writer Jim Rash couldn't resist striking the exact same stance when he took the stage to accept the award.

Ke$ha Drops Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa 'Sleazy' Remix

Remix also features Andre 3000 and is a bit racier than the original track.

<P>As promised, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/kesha_/artist.jhtml">Ke$ha</a> and her boys Lil Wayne, T.I., Wiz Khalifa and Andre 3000 dropped a new <a href="/news/articles/1672529/lil-wayne-kesha-ti-wiz-khalifa-remix.jhtml">remix of "Sleazy"</a> on Tuesday (December 13). </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="id:1661961" width="240" height="211"></div><p> The Bangladesh-produced song originally appeared on K-Dollar's 2010 <a href="/news/articles/1651081/keha-gets-sleazy-on-new-cannibal-track.jhtml"><i>Cannibal</i> album</a> before a <a href="/news/articles/1656039/andre-3000-pops-up-on-kehas-sleazy-remix.jhtml">remix featuring Andre</a> popped up earlier this year. The latest version of the song is available for purchase and is all over blogs like <a href="http://www.rap-up.com/2011/12/12/new-music-kesha-f-wiz-khalifa-andre-3000-ti-lil-wayne-sleazy-remix/" target="_blank">Rap-Up.com</a>. The song gets a bit dirtier and introspective thanks to verses from the guys that play up the track's bumping beat. Wiz kicks it off, rapping about designer clothes and his lady love, Amber Rose. "OK, I'm young and I'm tatted/ I get them bucks like an addict/ Rocking this Christian Dior/ I spend so much on my fabric/ I got a wifey at home/ And what she wants she can have it," he spits before going on about chilling on the beach, being rich and his prowess in the bedroom. Sitting in between Wiz and Tip is Andre's recycled verse, before T.I. gets his shot and gets sexy, asking Ke$ha, "Do you know what to do with me?" before he launches into a verse all about how good he is to the ladies. "Bad bitches know me/ So don't bother introducing me/ They want me more than diamonds," he brags before explaining that it has a lot to do with his impressive anatomy. Wayne closes it out, adding his own signature flair. "We be on that sh-- that no one be on/ That's what we on/ Smoke that neon, Kings of Leon/ Dynamite, Napoleon/ Got some skinnies and a tee on/ And some Vans," he rhymes about his famous sense of Weezy-fied style before the song circles back to the funky chorus, where Ke$ha declares that she doesn't "need you or your brand-new Benz/ Or your bougie friends/ I don't need love lookin' like diamonds/ Lookin' like diamonds." If any of K's fans or critics were wondering if she has the swagger to chill with the guys, she displayed some of her sass when she <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/KESHASUXX" target="_blank">tweeted</a> about the remix. "Question ANIMALS ... who can say they got with Lil Wayne, T.I., Andre 3000 and Wiz Khalifa on a f---ing hot track??" she asked. "ill give u one clue ... Its $." <i>What do you think of the "Sleazy" remix? Tell us in the comments!</i></p>

<P>Britney Spears spent the weekend celebrating her <a href="/news/articles/1676120/britney-spears-is-engaged.jhtml">engagement to Jason Trawick</a> in Las Vegas with friends and family. On Friday, hours after the news of their impending marriage was confirmed, the singer took to her Facebook page to make it official, changing her <a href="https://www.facebook.com/britney" target="_blank">relationship status</a> to "engaged." </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:720382" width="240" height="211"></div><p> She also shared with her fans on Twitter just how excited she is to be tying the knot with longtime boyfriend Trawick. "Still glowing!" she <a href="http://twitter.com/britneyspears" target="_blank">wrote</a>. "About to jump on a plane to Planet Hollywood in Vegas. Throwing a Bday Party for Jason at Chateau Night Club. So fun. Xxoo. And celebrate they did. <a href="http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20554744,00.html" target="_blank">People.com</a> reported that the couple and her two sons checked into Planet Hollywood before making their first public appearance since the news broke. Spears rocked not only a body-hugging Herv&#233; L&#233;ger bandage dress, but also her Neil Lane engagement ring. The couple shared dinner and dancing at two Sin City hotspots, Sugar Factory's Chocolate Lounge and Paris' Chateau Nightclub. "Tonight was one of the most magical nights of my life," she later wrote on Twitter. "Such an amazing time with my new fiance and our closest friends and family. #Blessed" While Spears was celebrating, her ex-husband Kevin Federline sent out his well-wishes. "I'm really happy for her &#8212; I think he's a great guy," he told <a href="http://tvweek.ninemsn.com.au/blog.aspx?blogentryid=963715&showcomments=true" target="_blank"><i>TV Week</i> magazine</a> while filming the reality show "Excess Baggage" in Australia. "She's happy; she's doing really well. I want to say she's in a good place. I haven't spoken to her much since I've been over here, both of us have been busy with her being on tour, but I do know from talking to the kids and talking to the kids' teachers that they're doing really good. It's a good step in the right direction. I'm totally happy for her." And Federline doesn't seem to have any hard feelings toward Trawick. "He's a really good guy, I've heard a lot about him," he added. "I've spoken to him quite a few times as of now. He seems like a really good guy. The kids speak highly of him [and] her family loves him." <div style="background-color:#000000;width:428px;"><div style="padding:4px;"><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:702567/cp~id%3D1672881%26vid%3D702567%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A702567" width="420" height="236" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></div></div> <i>Share your well-wishes for Britney and Jason in the comments!</i></p>

'Glee' Michael Jackson Episode: Rumored Set List Leaks

Perez Hilton reports that January 24 episode includes a 'Beat It' and 'Billie Jean' mash-up.

<P>"Glee" has already dedicated entire episodes to <a href="/news/articles/1637098/madonna-gives-props-to-glee-episode.jhtml">Madonna</a>, <a href="/news/articles/1648829/britney-spears-glee-episode-everything-you-need-to-know.jhtml">Britney Spears</a> and <a href="/news/articles/1639871/glee-lady-gaga-episode-is-fantastic-matthew-morrison-says.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a>, and come 2012, it's the King of Pop's turn. A rumored set list for the January 24 "Glee" Michael Jackson tribute episode has hit the Web, and it features some of the late singer's greatest hits. <a href="http://perezhilton.com/2011-12-27-glee-michael-jackson-tribute-episode-setlist#.TvoRm0rkk7A" target="_blank">Perez Hilton</a> reports that 14 tracks have made the final cut, although the list has yet to be confirmed by anyone connected with the show. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:549513.id:1645343" width="240" height="211"></div><p> The set list (along with who will perform the track) reportedly includes "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin' " (Blaine), "Bad" (the New Directions and the Warblers), "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" (Finn and Rachel), "Smooth Criminal" (Santana and Sebastian), "Never Can Say Goodbye" (Quinn), "In the Closet" (Brittany and Santana), "We Are the World" (the New Directions and the Warblers), "Black and White" (Puck), "Ghost"/"Monster" (New Directions), "Beat It"/"Billie Jean" (Warblers), "The Way You Make Me Feel" (Kurt) and "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" (Artie). This is hardly the first time the show has paid homage to Jackson. Back in 2010, the <a href="/news/articles/1657395/glee-thriller.jhtml">New Directions performed his track "Thriller,"</a> complete with zombie garb, during an episode that aired after the Super Bowl. The show has also previously covered "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing)" and "Man in the Mirror." Back in 2010, the cast of the hit Fox show had only imagined what it would be like to have an entire <a href="http://hollywoodcrush.mtv.com/2010/08/09/glee-michael-jackson/">episode dedicated to Jackson</a>. "I would love to do a Michael Jackson episode," Amber Riley told MTV News at the time. "You know, it's so many [songs that I love], but my favorite song by him is 'Human Nature.' I love that song." While Riley seemed psyched about the opportunity, castmate Jenna Ushkowitz found the possibility a little more daunting. "That's a scary, scary episode to do," she said. "[But] that would be absolutely amazing." <i>Are you happy with the rumored set list? What's missing? Share your thoughts in the comments below!</i></p>

Independent Spirit Awards Winners 2012!

Yesterday the Independent Spirit Awards took place in lovely Santa Monica and you can see a full list of winners right here, sweet!. It is the awards show that honors Independent Film and those who have made such films a huge success over the past year. The Independent Spirit Awards are the unOscars if you will and by that I mean they are more casual and way more laid back. I have even heard someone people comment that the affair that takes place on a beach is much more enjoyable than the uptight/formal show taking place tonight. However that does not mean those honored are less important than the Oscars. Oh no they are just as deserving, if not more in my eyes, but that is neither here nor there. That being said I give you to the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards Winner. BEST FEATURE The Artist BEST DIRECTOR Michel Hazanavicius – The Artist BEST MALE LEAD Jean Dujardin – The Artist BEST FEMALE LEAD Michelle Williams – My Week With Marilyn BEST SUPPORTING MALE Christopher Plummer – Beginners BEST SUPPORTING FEMALE Shailene Woodley – The Descendants BEST FIRST FEATURE Margin Call JOHN CASSAVETES AWARD (Feature Under $500,000) Pariah BEST [...]
